Performance Evaluations

The University of Denver expects each employee to perform the duties of their position at the highest level. All benefited staff members participate in the Performance Management at DU program, which is designed to encourage regular conversations with a focus on employee development 和 to to document 和 provide feedback on performance. This process includes a year-end formal performance assessment.

教师 review processes are governed by the Policies 和 Procedures Relating to 教师 Appointment, Promotion, & 任期内 (恰当的).

The value of performing 和 documenting a performance evaluation goes beyond the use of the evaluation for salary determination processes, 和 includes fostering the professional development of employees, providing clarification of job expectations, raising employee morale, documenting 和 correcting performance problems, assessing employees for promotional opportunities, 和 reviewing individual levels of performance in comparison to established st和ards.
